I couldn’t sleep last night. I’m closing my first “Fix and flip home“, and if it closes, I’ll make $28,000 after expenses!
Since I couldn’t sleep, I broke a promise to myself and joined the ranks of “peeping toms” and watched “Jon and Kate plus 8″. This is a resolution I made when the marriage between the two of them ended, in view of the whole world.
I have nothing against couples separating and divorcing when things don’t work out, however, to be involved in filming your life and air your dirty laundry on television, makes me feel that I am intruding. The private lives of the Gosselins should be private, and I am confused because they have not chosen to keep it private. Yet they complain and play martyr to paparazzil.
I believe their children will be fine, well taken care of and truly loved. I am sad that they have not put their children first and have not chosen to maintain their own privacy and dignity by ending the show. I have lost respect for both of them.
So lastnight I watched Jon and Kate plus 8, and rather than feeling warm and fuzzy and in other seasons, it left me bitter, sad and concerned. I resolve not to make that mistake again next week!
