At first glance it may appear like Dodgeball has little to offer. However, this is not the case. It has a great cast of characters portrayed by actors such as Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Rip Torn. This is a movie based primarily on hilarious one-liners. Lines such as “Cram it up your cramhole, La Fleur!” make the movie amazing. The greatest thing about this movie is the ability to watch it over and over again. It gets better on subsequent viewings. You will catch more lines you missed before. After about the 15th viewing of the movie, you will be quoting nearly the entire movie. Lines that others do not find funny will have you rolling off your chair in laughter. Yes, there are some campy antics that go on in the movie, but those moments are not what make the movie truly special. This is one of Ben Stiller’s best performances, and his portrayal of White Goodman will make you laugh to no end. If you haven’t seen this movie, you really need to give it about 4 chances. You will love it.
